I just published something I've been sitting on for a while.

A friend of mine made a choice most people wouldn't. He left. Not temporarily — permanently. Traded city life for one of the most remote places on Earth: Svalbard, Norway. 78 degrees north. More polar bears than people. Close to the North Pole.

I went to visit him. What I saw there — and what his choice revealed about the life most of us are quietly tolerating — is what this video is about.

It's not a travel video. It's about life can be like when NOT choosing the most comfortable option.

I brought my gear, my Mac, and spent a few days in this remote village doing some online work. But most importantly, got a taste of this magical nature.
